Job Description:

Our client, an international construction company, is seeking a Mechanical General Superintendent to join their team. As a Mechanical General Superintendent, you will be part of the Mechanical Team overseeing construction projects from a Mechanical systems perspective. The position is in north Phoenix and requires the General Superintendent to be onsite Monday through Friday and occasionally Saturday.
Job Title: General Superintendent
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $150,000-$180,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical systems and field construction work by subcontractors on $10mil plus construction projects for the company in the Phoenix area over the next 10+ years
• Responsible for overseeing mechanical system coordination (HVAC, plumbing/water systems, piping, QA, equipment, installations, etc.), scheduling, subcontractor management, reporting and managing 10+ superintendents in the field Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience in mechanical general superintendent work for $10mil+ construction projects (cleanrooms, data centers, power plants, etc.)
  • Experience with a multicultural workforce (subcontractors and full time employees)
  • Strong experience with coordination of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, etc.
  • Prior experience managing 10-20 superintendents (with an indirect workforce up to 1000) Benefits
