Our Lead Physical Therapy Technicians are core members of the treatment team and are integral in ensuring an exceptional end to end patient experience. This includes assisting our therapists with designated aspects of patient care and serving our patients to ensure safety, successful execution of exercise, and a positive outcome. Our treatment philosophy is a promise to provide an engaging experience in mind, body, and spirit, and the foundation of our assessment is grounded in the principles of Applied Functional Science (AFS).Essential Job Duties

  • Advance knowledge of patient exercises, proper form for completion, how to customize patient exercises, and how to use physical therapy equipment
  • Train and mentor new therapy technicians.
  • Participate and assist in planning of technician meetings.
  • Coordinate therapy technician schedules, including time off requests.
  • Effective communication of patient progress and reactions to treatment, to the physical therapist.
  • Administer treatment involving application of physical agents, moist heat packs, and other modality treatments as needed.
  • Fit patients for and train patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices, such as crutches, as instructed by the therapists.
  • Maintain safety and infection control standards and reporting or correcting hazards as necessary.Education and Experience
    • Minimum high school diploma or GED
