Position Details:

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Peoria, AZ

Schedule: Day Shift, Monday to Friday (may require overtime and Saturdays based on production)

Compensation: $22.05 - 27.86

Position Description:

The company is seeking applicants for the position of a Equipment Operator. We are growing and expanding our staff and looking for individuals to join our team who is looking for long term employment.

Responsibilities:

As a part of the company, you will perform pre-shift inspections and maintain comprehensive equipment repairs/maintenance records, ensuring timely submission to your supervisor. Your role involves conducting thorough workplace examinations to minimize safety hazards and identify mechanical issues, contributing to a safe environment. Additionally, you will actively assist with safety audits, operate heavy construction equipment efficiently to meet production goals, and undertake local travel as needed for support at various sites. Promoting safety awareness, complying with industry safety rules and regulations, maintaining effective communication with colleagues, and embracing opportunities for continuous improvement are key components of your responsibilities. Moreover, you'll diligently perform any other assigned duties to ensure smooth operations and may need to work overtime or on Saturdays, aligning with production demands.

Requirements

Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
Must have 2 years Loader and/or Dozer Operator experience. Preferably with Cat 980 and 988 and CAT D8 or CAT D10
Ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions specifically Safety related
Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
Positive, Team-based attitude
The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
