Position Summary:The Detailer has overall responsibility for making a car looks its best and is someone who takes pride in performing an exceptional job. Must have an eye for detail. An individual is required to multi-task and adjust to the workings of a transitional weather environment. Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities:(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)Detail the interior and exterior of vehiclesApply polishes, conditioners, waxes and/or masking materials to preserve, protect, and restore vehicle's interior and exterior. Clean and vacuum vehicle's interior carpets to remove loose dirt and debris. Clean upholstery and other surfaces using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Exceed customer expectations by being friendly to customers and handling vehicles with extreme care. Pull and lift equipment and hoses.Other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications:Previous car wash or detail experienceHigh School Diploma or GEDKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Detailed-orientedTeam-orientedIntegrityCustomer serviceProduct knowledgeBuilding relationshipsMotivation for sales Requires the ability to interact with others, interpret spoken messages and utilize reason to resolve problems. Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking, and frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, being mobile on uneven surfaces, squeezing and crouching.
