This position is not open to agency submissions. This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support. Job Overview: Assist in the maintenance and shrink control of inventory for 850 stores and commercial service centers. Responsible for several tasks including daily spot count audit, assisting stores with resolving inventory discrepancies, analyzing store shrinkage, assisting stores with timely receipt of transfers and purchase orders, preparing and processing physical and cycle counts, and adherence to standard inventory procedures. Also assist with maintaining Inventory Records, providing weekly/monthly reporting and analysis of changes in inventory volumes and valuations. Attention to detail – Accuracy in tracking and recording inventory information. Proactive – Displays initiative and acts without being told what to do. Brings new ideas to the company. Communication and Interpersonal Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication with store management, team members, and other departments regarding inventory issues and updates. Demonstrates friendly professionalism, courtesy and sense of urgency. Teamwork – Reaches out to peers and cooperates with supervisors to establish an overall collaborative working relationship. Inventory Management Software Proficiency – Experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience with JDA, Microsoft Access and Power BI a plus. Understanding of Retail Operations – Knowledge of retail procedures, sales process, and customer service. Qualifications: High school additional college coursework or related experience/education 1-2 year’s experience in Inventory Control or analysis 1-2 year’s experience in Access and Excel, JDA, or AS400 strongly preferred â?¯Leslie's provides a robust benefits package, including: Comprehensive medical, pharmacy, dental, & vision plan options.
