Job Description Job Title: Backend Java Engineer Hybrid Work
Location: Phoenix, AZ Contract Length: 9 Months 4 years of Software
Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a
combination of the following: work experience, training, military
experience, education 4 years of Java experience, including
proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot. 2 years of experience with
Python, focused on backend or data-driven development. Deep
understanding of Reactive Programming (WebFlux, etc.) Hands-on
experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architectures.
Experience with Flink for stream processing and data pipelines.
Database expertise in both MongoDB (NoSQL) and Oracle (RDBMS). 2
years of experience developing and using RESTful Application
Program Interface (API) Desired Qualifications: 3 years of
experience with Cloud technologies Exposure to LLM (Large Language
Models), agentic architectures, and prompt engineering concepts.
Familiarity with ADK (Agent Development Kit), Playbook, or similar
agentic frameworks.
