Job Description Job Description Akkodis is seeking an Application Programmer for a Contract job with a client in Chandler, AZ(Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have fluency in Python or Java and experience with Unix/Linux systems. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and managing relational databases like Oracle. Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Application Programmer job responsibilities include: Writing and maintaining efficient, reusable code Troubleshooting and debugging software issues Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design software solutions Managing and optimizing databases for performance and scalability Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 5 years of experience in application programming. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and Unix/Linux systems Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
