Job Summary
Food Services Assistants at the Rio Salado Cafe provide astonishing
customer service while serving students, staff and our local
community by preparing high quality meals.
Essential Functions
40% - Prepares food for breakfast, lunch and catering services.
20% - Provides excellent customer service while serving food in the
cafe and for catering
20% - Cleans and ensures health department standards are
exceeded
10% - Completes daily prep lists, health department temperature
charts and other back of house tracking forms
10% - Assists with delivery and pick-up of on-site catering events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
A. Ability to work as a team player and individually
B. Experience providing exceptional customer service
C. Experience in a food and beverage setting
Special Working Conditions
Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds; requires a food handler's
card/certificate or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of
hire. All preferred candidates must complete a background check
before employment.
