Job Description Job Overview At The Sicilian Baker a barista will serve customers baked goods and prepare custom coffee beverages. To be successful in this role, you should have a passion for customer service and have an introductory skillset of a barista. Responsibilities and Duties --- Greet customers, present bakery and drink menus, answer questions and offer recommendations --- Take orders while paying attention to details --- Prepare barista style beverages following recipes --- Serve beverages and bakery items with aesthetically pleasing presentation --- Monitor the visual appeal and inventory of baked goods on display --- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, including coffee and drink making equipment --- Comply with and safety regulations Requirements --- At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent --- Must have at least 6 months experience as a barista or counter service --- Positive attitude with outgoing and friendly personality --- Cashier experience and basic math skills needed --- Excellent communication skills --- Knowledge of sanitation regulations --- Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekends --- Is professional and punctual --- Team player who is reliable, dependable, and self-motivated We use eVerify to confirm U.S. Employment eligibility.
