Monitor Tech Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $798 to $992 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/28/2026 About the Position Job Title Tech, Radiology, Monitor Tech City/State: Phoenix, Arizona Shift: 12hr nights, must be available for 2-3 day shifts for orientation, holidays and weekends Contract Length: 91 weeks Start Date: 04/28/2026 Job Description: This complex position is responsible for performing remote surveillance for multiple locations, specific to cardio-pulmonary rhythms via a central monitoring station, and for recognizing, recording, and reporting potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established standards and procedures per applicable regulatory requirements. Work is primarily performed in a centralized monitoring unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities: Accurately recognize cardiac rhythms and follow command center policy. Take appropriate action and follow established protocols in notifying local RN staff of changes in cardiac rhythm and arrhythmias. Follow proper communication channels in handling routine and emergency situations. Strive to improve patient outcomes and department metrics. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited program, including EKG Interpretation. Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience; 3 years preferred. Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam prior to accepting. BLS Certification. Requirements Required for Onboarding Core Mandatory Part III
