Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work varied schedule with weekend and holiday rotation requirements • May float to support other units as needed • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for patients • Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs • Formulate and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Provide direct patient care, coordinate care, and supervise healthcare team activities • Document all nursing activities in patient records accurately and timely • Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed • Participate in research activities and quality improvement initiatives • Mentor and precept other nursing staff and students • Current valid RN license in state of practice required • BLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred Facility: This medical center is part of a comprehensive healthcare network that provides high-quality patient care services.
