06-01-2026 Contract Type: Travel Contract Shift Type:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30
PM (Day shifts) with on-call responsibilities; includes
evening/weeknight call coverage and periodic weekend coverage
(rotating call). Call response time: 30 minutes. Hours per Week: 40

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Provide high-quality
perioperative nursing care in the OR and CVOR for a high-volume
surgery unit Assist and collaborate with surgical teams on cases
including total joints, general surgery, spine, urology and open
heart/CV procedures Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and
support efficient charting workflows Respond to on-call
notifications promptly (30-minute response expectation) and provide
patient care as needed Support safe patient transitions, work
closely with scrub techs and specialty leads, and follow hospital
policies Float occasionally to assist other departments for
non-procedural tasks when requested Qualifications Active RN
license (eligible to practice in Arizona) ACLS and BLS
certifications required for RNs (BLS only for techs) Minimum 1 year
of full-time OR experience required (posting indicates up to 2
years experience in job details) Previous experience working in OR
and/or CVOR required — ability to work scrub or circulate as needed
Comfortable with high-case-volume surgical environments and
circulating in acute/OR settings Ability to meet a 30-minute call
response time and participate in shared call rotations Education
Active RN license; BSN not required Knowledge & Skills Familiarity
with Cerner EMR for perioperative documentation Strong
perioperative knowledge: sterile technique, instrumentation,
patient positioning, and OR workflow Experience with cardiovascular
operating room (CVOR) procedures and open heart team support
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-case-volume settings (20-30
cases/day across suites) Team-oriented communication with surgeons,
anesthesiology, scrub techs, and specialty leads Benefits Work with
