Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott,
Arizona, 86301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift:
12-Hour Nights, Every Other Weekend Hours per Shift: 36 hours per
week Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License
required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read
basic telemetry strips - Some experience with CVA and TIA - Total
joint replacement experience - Cerner experience recommended
Description: Prescreening and manager review are required.
Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
prior to contract signing. If the clinician fails to score 80% in
two attempts, they will be designated as Do Not Use for 6 months.
Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any
facility associated with the organization within the past year.
This unit consists of 49 beds with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5.
Charge Nurses and House Supervisors will be present. Nurse Aides
are available with ratios of 1:10-15. The unit is equipped with
BiPap, CPAP, and provides breathing treatments. Shifts are from 7
PM to 7 AM, scheduled for four weeks in advance. Self-scheduling is
used but is balanced by management. There is a requirement for two
weekends per four-week schedule. During holiday periods, two shifts
are preferred for Christmas, New Year’s, and Thanksgiving. Floating
to other units may occur if qualified. Navy blue scrubs are
required. Cancellation policy states three shifts may be canceled
per contract. Charting system utilized is Cerner. Total joint
replacement experience is essential. RNs are required to interpret
telemetry strips and sign off at least once per shift. No
titratable drips are administered. Diltiazem/Cardizem drips are
