Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Location: Gilbert, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,622 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: COTA Profession: Therapy Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8:00-17:00 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Time management Point of care documentation Knowledge of GG Scoring Description: Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital Gilbert is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. We are dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment throughout the recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We strive to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The department has a patient ratio of 8 patients per therapist, with 1-2 assistants and 1 rehabilitation tech. Equipment available includes Vector, Litegait, Saeto, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, Technobody. EHR system used is UDS. The patient population primarily consists of adults. Candidates should possess strong time management skills, experience with point of care documentation, and a solid understanding of GG scoring. Preferred skills include experience with common diagnoses such as neurological, orthopedic, and cardiac conditions.
