$32.00/hourOur PositionThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position
works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and as part
of a multi-disciplinary clinical team. The LPN position also
identifies the need for medical attention and alerts the Physician
and/or RN of medical concerns.Your Rewards

Responsibilities
- Assists with intake process.
- Collects blood or urine specimens and arranges transport to lab
as ordered.
- Monitors care of individuals to include monitoring of
medications under the supervision of the RN.
- Oversees and maintains medication records in accordance with
policy and State Regulations.
- Provides support to Medical Assistants and other staff as
needed, which includes treatment and discharge planning.
- Provides education regarding diabetic care, psychiatric
medication and other medical needs to enhance individual health and
wellbeing.
- Coordinates care including assisting individuals with making
medical and/or other provider appointments as needed.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance
standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of
Interest Policies.

- Thorough comprehension of psychiatric nursing preferred.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications,
common side effects, reactions and interactions of medications
prescribed.
- Ability to work with agitated patients in crisis and their
families to implement behavioral management interventions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent clinical documentation skills.
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current and valid LPN license.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral
health setting.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by
state requirements.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA
guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

- Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous
testing (if applicable).
- Must be able to pass education verification check.
- Must be able to obtain designated fingerprinting clearance in
applicable states.
- Must be able to pass three-year motor vehicle report and meet
minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if
driving is required for this position).Driving Requirements
- If driving is required for this position, must meet all
requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver
Attestation form must be signed.A Nursing Competency Checklist must
be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.Physical
DemandsMay include work close to the eyes and substantial motions
of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing,
walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination,
use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May
be required to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.Work

facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or
