Pediatrics opening in Peoria, Arizona. OPEN POSITION:
Physician - Pediatrician

SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Friday, 7:30am to 12:30pm
- No Evenings or Weekends
- On-Call Evenly Shared

COMPENSATION:
- $180,000 to $200,000 Base Salary, dependent upon experience
- Partnership Track Option

LOCATION:
Peoria, Arizona

COMPANY PROFILE:
This private pediatric practice has been serving patients in the greater Peoria area for more than 20 years. They currently employ 3 dedicated pediatricians and are seeking to add another physician to their team due to growth.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new pediatrician will provide comprehensive medical services for pediatric patients. Pediatricians see an average of 20 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated medical assistant.

Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:

- perform evaluation and treatment of patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- take patient histories and conduct physical examinations
- conduct well child checks
- order appropriate diagnostic tests
- prescribe and order medication
- assess acute needs and chronic conditions
- review and sign off on all laboratory and radiology results
- ensure there is patient follow-up
- initiate and follow through on specialist referrals
- communicate with specialty providers when necessary

The practice utilizes the eClinicalWorks EHR.

On-call responsibilities are collaboratively and evenly shared among the pediatricians.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Arizona medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified, Pediatrics
- 1+ year practice experience
