Job Description:
Full Time Shift: Front End Nights 7:00pm-7:30 am Pay Range:
$16.50-$18.00 per hour depending on experience. Summary of Job: The
Behavioral Health Technician I (BHT I) acts as an advocate for the
needs and rights of individuals served by providing empathic,
active listening skills, case management and support services in
order to maximize the opportunity to create recovery partnerships
and a recovery environment. The BHT I also transports individuals
to access community resources, as needed. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: ---Connects with new participants, on site or
while the participant is incarcerated or hospitalized, to obtain
referral information and necessary solutions. ---Teaches recovery
and life skills using recovery tools. ---Cultivates connectedness
in the person's life (self, others, the environment, and to meaning
and purpose). ---Assesses emergency situations, notifies supervisor
of actual or potential challenges, exercises judgment in stressful
conditions and responds calmly and quickly. ---Completes clinical
documentation as required. ---Develops and maintains community
resources for education, information and referrals appropriate to
participant's needs. ---Understands and adheres to RI International
compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and
Conflict of Interest Policies. ---Performs other related duties as
assigned. Job Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an

equivalent. Driving Requirements: ---If driving is required for
this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI
International driving policy. ---If not qualified to drive per
driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed. A
Direct Service Competency Checklist must be completed as part of
the new hire onboarding process. Physical Demands: May include work
close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands,
and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling,
finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected
vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to
lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an
office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact
with individuals who are agitated and/or confused. Work may include
