As a rapidly growing company with over 1700 employees across 44 locations in North America, Inland offers exciting employment opportunities that can help you drive your future!This position is located at our sales and service dealership in Tolleson, AZ.THE OPPORTUNITYAs a Regional Accounting Manager, you will serve as advisor and strategic business partner to the Regional General Manager and key business leaders, reporting on KPI's and trend analysis, and budget variance. You will also be responsible for the administrative functions in our accounting department, including supervision of admin staff, ensuring that all dealership procedures are followed, and all office systems are functioning. You will also perform various types of financial analysis and account reconciliations relating to the region.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESPerform financial analysis on reporting including KPI analysis, trend analysis, comparisons to budgets and prior yearMeet with the General Managers and Department Managers on a regular basis to review the financial statementsAssist with the preparation of budgets, expense allocation, and other annual benchmarksServe as advisor to and strategic partner with the General Managers, assisting in most decisions related to forecasts and new initiatives to exploit potential profit improvement opportunitiesPerform regular reconciliations for balance sheet items related to the regionOversee the deal file processLiaise between Head Office accounting staff and Regional ManagersProvide monthly reports and status updates to Head Office accounting staff and ControllerReview trade accounts receivable to ensure customer disputes are handled in a timely fashionWHAT WE LOOK FORBachelors Degree in accounting or business is requiredCPA designation is preferred5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSupervisory experience is requiredAdvanced accounting knowledge including ability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial reportsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience with data analytics tools (eg. power BI) preferredGreat interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingExcellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise a high level of judgement and discretionExcellent time management with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage leadership responsibilities and be accountableUS BENEFITS PACKAGEOur employees receive a generous benefits package including:MedicalDentalVisionPrescription benefits401k with employer matching programFlexible Savings AccountHealth Savings Account (available with some medical programs)Long Term and Short Term DisabilityLife Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment InsurancePaid Time OffOn-going training opportunities If you are looking for an opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team of professionals, we invite you to apply today!
