history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Space Systems is
currently seeking a Systems Engineer Level 3 to join our Space team
within the Launch Systems business unit at the Chandler, AZ
facility. This program will be developing and deploying a
proliferated Low Earth Orbit constellation of interceptors. The
interceptors must seamlessly integrate with Ground Control, Fire
Control, and Data Transport Systems. Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, decomposition, refinement and
documentation of key requirements and capabilities. Responsible for
supporting overall System-level end to end performance assessments
of the system and identifying and leading the resolution of systems
performance gaps relative to stakeholder requirements. Collaborate
with other systems engineers and other disciplines to support the
development of deliverables. The candidate should possess strong
technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
to generate and document system level requirements, perform vehicle
performance assessments and participate in system level
verification/data review activities. Manage requirement changes in
the Requirements Management databases working effectively with IPT
leaders and team members. Create and manage both original and
revised specification/interface definition documents and coordinate
document approval through the peer review and signature process.
Support risk management (identifies potential risk). Manage aspects
of system design, analyses, interface verification, testing, minor
failure/anomaly resolution or mission operations. Participate in
the creation of and/or management of, changes to system or
subsystem analytical models. Experience with Agile principles and
have demonstrated the ability to facilitate an agile development
process. Lead or support the development and execution of program
technical reviews. Basic Qualifications: 5 Years Experience with BS
in Engineering; 3 Years with Masters in Engineering; 0 Years with
PhD in Engineering. U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to work
onsite is required. Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
is required. Ability to travel, when needed, is required. Preferred
Qualifications: A strong experienced-based and academic foundation
in Systems Engineering fundamentals. Demonstrated experience in
requirements decomposition, validation and verification. Ability to
communicate technical information clearly to both technical and
non-technical personnel. Experience working in an interceptor
program. Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler. Multi-Disciplinary Analysis
and Optimization (MDAO) experience. Familiarity with Agile
engineering and Jira. Should possess a strong resolve to drive

schedule (9 hours per day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours every other Friday
with the alternate Friday off) Primary Level Salary Range:
$98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
