and three years (3) experience appropriate to the area of
assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience
and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and
abilities have been achieved. Job Profile Summary: Responsible for
identifying and mitigating potential security risks through
community education, security assessments, crime analysis, and the
development of targeted prevention programs. Job Description:
Posted salary: $24.00 to $25.00 per hour; DOE Primary
Responsibilities • Work at the Security Command Center Desk located
at Stagedoor which includes monitoring video feeds, answering the
phone, receiving deliveries, listening intently to radio
communications, checking-in, verifying and issuing credentials to
show personnel, and other security tasks as needed per event and
for venue security. • Maintain current and accurate event files,
security logs and credential usage/distribution. • Maintain
templates and data sets for department identification cards. Track
the distribution and collection of all identification cards. Create
credential boards per event as assigned. Printing security badges
using our in-house ID System and the Lenel Card Reader program for
the Integrated System for ASU Access Control (ISAAC). • Assist with
tracking and submitting all ISAAC requests, as well as setting
timers in system. • Review and verify accuracy of part-time and
student employee payroll for compliance and timely processing. •
Assist with hiring, onboarding and training of all part-time and
student staff. • Execute aspects of security operations based on
the plans developed by the security leadership team. Plans will
include patron safety, show needs and other security services
needed for Broadway shows, sponsored and rental productions,
receptions, concerts and other public events. • Work with front of
house full-time staff to provide consistent customer service
throughout a patron’s experience. Assist other full-time staff
during emergency situations per guidelines. • Track security
equipment used, maintenance needed and incident reports through
Officer Reports. • Coordinate with security leadership to maintain
AEDs and first aid supplies and ensure good working order of all
equipment, including but not limited to walk-thru, hand-held metal
detectors, AEDs, and radios. • Secure venue during non-event days.
• Maintain inventory of security supplies and reorder when needed.
• Serve as security point of contact for daytime events. • Assist
with training as needed on security protocols, equipment
procedures, radio etiquette and crowd management. • Review show
reports, officer report maintenance requests and submit facility
maintenance requests as needed. Track and maintain all requests and
update staff on project progress. • Develop, organize, and train
part-time staff that are authorized to work at Stagedoor Security
Desk/Command • Work with admin staff to track and update Lost and
Found items and process. • Develop a personal code of conduct to
help ensure our work environment is welcoming, equitable and
supports our department mission and core values along with the ASU
Charter. • Coordinate special projects as assigned and perform
other administrative duties as needed. Knowledge and Skills Desired

Environment: • Ability to clearly communicate verbally, read,
write, see and hear to perform essential functions. • Skill in
organizing work of self and others and handling multiple tasks
simultaneously. • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and
pulling up to 50 pounds. • Stand for extended periods of time. •
Regular activities require the ability to quickly change
priorities, which may include and/or are subject to resolution of
conflicts. • Ability to respond quickly in an emergency situation.
• Use of computer and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to
accommodate extended working hours, including nights, weekends and
holidays, as needed based on event schedule. • Drive on university
business which may require driving a 7-passenger van and/or
electric golf and possess a valid Class D US driver license upon
