Job Description Job Description eWord Solutions is looking for legal clerks to join our team. We seek candidates who can use the MerusCase case-management to prepare legal documents for mailing and e-filing in Electronic Adjudication Management System (EAMS) system. Ideal candidates will have excellent computer and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications. Candidates with prior experience in California workers' compensation are encouraged to apply; all qualified candidates will be considered. Responsibilities Research – Locate specific documents required for e-filing and mailing Liaise – Collaborate with the office manager or attorney as required for particular cases Facilitate – Make necessary corrections and upload formatted documents into Merus Print – Print formatted documents to be e-filed and mailed E-File – File formatted documents with EAMS Upload – Submit the e-file packet to Merus Transfer – Transfer the printed documents to the mailing department for distribution Requirements High school diploma 3 years experience of uploading documents into Merus Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills Proven ability to meet deadlines Positive attitude Resourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill set Familiarity with office equipment (i.e., computers, phone system, printers) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word) Our mailer–e-filers must work in our office at 601 E Glenoaks Blvd, Ste 105, Glendale, CA 91207.
